We took Maria to her first movie at the movie theater. She had a great time taking it all in. Just the movie theater itself was fun for her. We went and seen Monster, Inc. At first she wasn't to sure about it, because it started out with a monster in the closet. As it went on the monsters were more scared of humans so that was a good thing, because she has had times that she was scared of the monsters.
It was a really cute movie and we asked her how she liked it and she said she did and it was only a little bit bad.....
Now she wants to go see some others that we had seen previews of before ours....

Last night or more like this early a.m....2 infact Maria woke with a blood curdling scream. Of course, I ran downstairs and she said she was scared of the monsters! I did get her settled down, but she wanted to sleep upstairs in her old room. Hope we didn't do the wrong thing by taking her to that movie. We'll have to stress to her that there isn't no such thing or that they are good monsters.

We put Maria in her new bedroom November 25th to be exact. We decided that it would be an early Christmas gift. She wasn't surprised as you know the story. The one thing she was surprised about was that the back of her door was painted white...LOL! "Silly girl!"
The dream was just a one night thing or our telling her there were no such thing as a monster finally sunk in. Last night she slept all night with no dreaming and no fear of going to sleep again the next night. We told her that the angels were watching her to keep her safe.
Thanks....it was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun even though it wasn't much of a surprise for her in the end. It all turned out good.
