Every time Maria eats Fruit loops she has to eat all the same color at one time. So she gets all orange at one time, blue, red, etc. If one color that doesn't match the color she is currently eating she takes it off the spoon. It is quite funny to watch.

When Sheleen & I were growing up that is the way we would eat our food. One thing at a time until that one thing was all gone before going on to the next food item on your plate. Heaven for bid any of it touched....
I don't ever recall using Fruit loops to teach her colors, but it might be possible that she does that at Daddy Vince's. I'll have to ask. Yes it takes her awhile, but that is normal when she is eating most times....
