Friday was Maria's first track and field at school. It was fun to see how excited the kids were to race. There were several kids that are in a wheel chair and they were included in everything. The one child was so excited that you couldn't have wiped off the smile on his face.
Eric and I compared it to our days and things have changed a lot. The hurdles when we were growing up were the real thing. These days they use styrofoam. Remember those days you would fall over them and skin your knees...
It was a fun day hanging with Maria and her friends.
There class got 3rd in Tug of war and 2nd place in Relay. She was very proud!!
