Here is a low fat french fry recipe for those who love fries but hate the fat & calories that go to the waist. [Smile]

Cut & peel potatoes into thin slices
dip in 1 beaten egg whites
season with onion powder & pepper

bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes or light brown.

Enjoy! [Big Grin]

Let me know if you think they taste just as good as french fried!! [Thumbs Up]

You didn't say whether you tried these or not. I am assuming you did and did you like them?

Actually I haven't tried them yet.....I'm on a liquid diet of green tea and vegtable broth for a while but once I'm done, I plan to try them so if you try them before me, let me know if you think they are good. Denise Austin says they are great but she's a skinny runt (jealous of her shape)LOL! [Smile]

I have tried these potatoes or a variation. Works great. You can try all different combinations of salt and spice. Coarse ground pepper is good - garlic salt, celery salt, chile powder.
I think when I made it, I just sprayed the potatoe wedges with non-stick spray - like PAM.
