We had a great time camping this last wkend with Dan and Denise Paquette's(and 4 boys). Didn't get much sleep and ended up getting rained on. We was to the camp site-north of Minocqua on Starlet Lake,arrived friday at 5pm to set up. It's a state camp grounds. We got a site that was big enough for 2 tents and a big bus-used as a camper. The kids went swimming for awhile and the guys(the bigger ones) went fishing. Ate supper at 7pm,up til 11. I had only one good hr of sleep before getting woke up by Jason talking in his sleep,and there was some kind of bug crawling around on me.
I then was hearing things as if someone was walking around the campsite,here it was Ryan and Jordan,in their own tent, talking in their sleep( I made Jeff check it out) . Oh then the dog(Dan and Denise)started whinning when it started raining along with it started pouring so we started getting wet. It was fun,we had our laughs!!!

Monday,I had lots of laundry and sleeping bags needed washing. The van needed cleaning out,it was starting to smell bad. Today we set up the tents to air out and clean up,all ready for our next adventure. We'll be thinking of you all this wkend camping.

Later tonight the wind was blowing pretty good. Felt nice outside. I played with Colby for a bit and then went on a solo bike ride for 15 minutes... Just road around the neighborhood. It felt good.
