It's this weather just great. A little windy but I am sure it would have been too warm for me today if the wind hadn't been there. I love these cool nights and 70's in the day time.

This weather is the best! I love that feeling of these nights of cool breeze. If Maria didn't have to go to bed so early we would probably have gone for a walk.
It is State Fair starting Thursday so it will start to get hotter for a little while more. You know you can't have State Fair without the heat....
We went for a boat ride last night on Green Lake and had a picnic on the boat in the middle of the lake. It was quite cold so we all had sweatshirts on to keep warm.
It almost feels like fall. Bill hasn't had any problem this year with his allergies so that is great, also.
But it is August it could turn so HOT! So enjoy it before it changes!

Well we have storm warning out here tonight. They sited a wall cloud near Kerkhoven, so they have all the spotters out watching it. I guess Benson got hail and high winds. It sounds like it might miss Willmar but hit Spicer, New London area. It only goes until 8:45 which is only 5 more minutes. All it is doing here is lightning with a lot of noise.

You people in the Willmar area get the worst of all weather. We didn't have much of that at all. The a.m. it was raining until about 1p.m. In the evening we had the lighting, but no thunder.
Dustin must have been really affected by the last storm because he kept asking if we were going to have to go to the basement and was it going to be real bad. And that we could get killed by lighting.... Poor kid was traumatized.

We drove home last night in the lighting storm. Which at times you wondered if you'd get hit. We were in the New London area at the time but not too much happened other then some good rain. Our contractor wants more so that the ground would settle more around the house so it is a good thing for us.

Dustin has become afraid of storms. The last bad one we had in June I think when the sirens went off, Lynn and him happened to stop in at work. When the sirens went off we all went down to the storm shelter. The first time in 25 years I have worked there that we have ever had to do that. We could head the hail hitting outside. That did it for him.

This weather is hard to get use to so much up and down in the temp. It is feeling like fall right now and we received 2 inches of rain. It was much needed here. It has been one of those cool and dark days! Sleeping weather!
