I talked to a guy on the phone yesterday that lives in North Carolina. He and his wife had just moved there this year. They were told it hadn't snowed there for 3 years.
Well this pasted week, as I am sure you al know, they got all of our snow and ice. Of course they don't have the equipment that we do. He said that some people were going to be without electricity for up to 2 weeks.
With the ice on the lines it either broke the lines or pulled poles down. Their temperature was in the low 30's yesterday, just like ours.
I asked if people were saying he brought the ice, snow and cold weather with him. He said oh ya.
I know most of you know all this, but I just had to pass this on. It was fun to talk to some one that was right there.
