Your baby's probably moving more than ever before. Some pregnant women even have trouble sleeping because their babies' kicks and rolls keep them up at night. If you're having this problem, comfort yourself with the knowledge that your baby is active and healthy. You're also getting some practice for all the sleepless nights you'll endure as a new mom. If you haven't already, now is a good time to start monitoring your baby's activity level. Twice a day count your baby's movements. Ideally, you should feel at least ten kicks, rolls, or swishes an hour. If you notice fewer than ten movements an hour or a significant decrease in the frequency of your baby's movements, tell your midwife or doctor immediately.
There is no doubt this baby is right on cue to everything they email us. This is exactly what our baby has been doing!!

To funny! I remember Alex being very, very active. And he was up every two hours when he was born. No wonder why I was always so tired. I didn't sleep much before he was born and didn't sleep much after he was born. My husband wouldn't get up in the middle of the night the 1st 6 weeks of Alex's life 'cause I was home. Well I didn't get any sleep when I was home either 'cause by the time I fell a sleep he was up again!! I guess that's why I waited for almost 3 yrs before having Brianna. And then she was a piece of cake, slept all the time!!! And then Colette came along and she was quiet until NOW !!! She has 2 friends over and it hasn't been quiet since they walked in the door at 4:15 PM!!! Got to love those kids!!
