Last Wednesday I put it in my mind that I'm doing this again and going to succeed to stay that way.
My first full week I lost 4lbs !!! I've really been watching what I been eating and the journaling has been the way to keep track. I've curved my temptation to eat anything everything. Making better choices of what I eat is the new way.
I'm doing it all on my own because $10 a week is more than I'm willing to dish out and I've done it on my own before so I know that I can do it. A co-worker lost 75lbs the last 6 months!! She has much more to loss, but if she can do it I can to.
Wish me luck!!! Keep checking back for progress reports.

Are you doing core or flex? Remember a year ago when I launch my 60 by 60? I went on the South Beach diet on my own. I lost about 22 lb and then allowed myself to have a little stuff - you know what happened next. I gained back about 7 lb. I decided that I needed to pay $10 a week to have someone put me on a scale. I am following sort of core with some of the South Beach diet mixed in. I am not sure of the difference between WW scale and the doctor's office but I had lost 29 lb since my physical 1 year ago. I got motivated when I found that out. I lost 2.2 lb last week and 2.8 this week. Now I will probably have a couple slow weeks. I am enjoying the foods I eat. I have treats regularly but I never really blow it and the next meal or snack is back on track.
It is work but you can do it. Lots of luck and good planning

Well that is good to hear that we are all normal!!! It is a life time of just making good choices and sometimes we will fall off the wagon, but as long as we get back on before to long is the important thing.
I find that points work the best for me. I know the points a lot quicker because I've done it longer. Where the core you need to know when you've had what you need verses what I want.
I've switched to whole grain bread, added cottage cheese, a lot more fruit and veggies. When I go out now I only have a subway no chips or cookies, when I go to Chipolte I have Chicken Fajita bowl not a wrap, Wendy's I only have a plain baked potato w/a small chili poured over top of it. And of course, a lot of water!!

I go to WW to weigh in on Friday. I get on my scale every day but it is so unreliable it is kind of a joke. If you get on and off three times, you will probably get three different weights. I like to take the best one, knowing that it may be wiishful thinking. I am not expecting much if any loss this week after losing 5 lbs the past 2 weeks. I'll check with you later tomorrow.

Our scale sounds like your scale. I'm going to go get a new battery to see if that helps give me the same # every time. I've been using the daycare's scale.
I weighed yesterday and I lost another pound. So in total for the last two weeks I've lost 7 lbs. I feel it more than I see it. My clothes fit looser but I still have my rolls. That will take the full 30/40 that I would like to lose the rolls.
All that I have done to lose that much is cut my portions in half, get rid of the chips and diet pop and drink more water. Now if I added exercise that would make me lose more. So now that I'm back to eating like I should I'll start adding the exercise....walking. I have been doing push ups and set ups.
Good luck with the weigh in on Friday, Connie. Your 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks are great!!! Keep that up every 2 weeks and you'll hit your goal in no time.

Sheryl has been doing a great job. I know that because she is losing weight and making herself aware of her choices. She has been talking a lot about it.
She has been eating at subway most days.... Wait a minute, I thought she was on the Weight Watchers plan...but maybe she is on the Jared/Subway Diet
Me..I'm once again making smaller strides. Smaller protions, and I've had a max of a can of pop each day. Sure I'm only on my 2nd day, but it is a start.
Sheryl and I have to get serious about this. With each others help we WILL beat this.

After reading about your scales, I went and weighed myself on my scale. I got on the normal way and it read XXX. I got on a second time and it still weighed XXX. So the 3rd time I turned my body so my toes were by the side of the scale and the weight once again was XXX. So 3 out of 3 times it weighted the same.
I have one of those (I think) new Weight Watchers Round Scale.

Those little strides will soon turn into big strides because you'll see the difference it has on your body. Cutting out pop alone will be enough to see a difference. Maybe not in a week but give it 6 months and let us know. Each week add or replace something healthier than what you are currently eating. That will make the transition of unhealthy eating easier to healthier eating.
I wish we could eat everything we want and regret it later but that isn't reality. I want to be health for myself so that we can see our children grow up and possible to see our grandchildren....that is my goal for losing weight and being healthier.
Our scale says I weigh 6 lbs heavier than what daycare's says. I'll have to get use to what our says and go by that.
All of us together can encourage each other to beat this.

I had to work on Friday ans didn't think I had time to weigh in before I trveled out of town. Mistake #1. I arrived earlier than expected and one other team member was late. I should have gone. Friday night I had a bunch of pistachio nuts. DO NOT EAT NUTS before wiegh in. On Saturday morning, my own scale showed some gain. I did not feel like it was going to be a good weigh. I went anyway. The WW scale said I gained 3.8 lb. I was almost in tears when I left. I couldn't even stay for class. I went straight to CUB and got a gooey sweet roll and some health food too. That is not my usual style but I was looking for comfort food. Mike and I went to a local festival and I had crawfish etoufee (CAjun rice dish) and a barbequed pork steak. I had planned to have that so that was not any revenge move. This morning my scale shows 1 lb more that Thursday. I am recovering. I am one the road and eating in restaurants all week. Chicken and lettuce with be the standby. Thanks for letting me vent.

Lost 1.8 this week. I had hoped for more but I was out of town and not quite a good as if I am home in my own kitchen. It was the right direction so I will just keep on making good decisions. Vacation with Mom at Vonnie's and Mom's starting on Friday. That is a challenge.

Congratulations on your lose!! That is almost 2lbs and that is a very good turn around. I have maintained since my last lose. That is because like you I fell off of the right track, but like you I have gotten back on doing it again. I do feel much better in my clothes. I don't feel like my rolls hang over my pants like it use to.
The bike riding that we've been doing has helped as well. Now I need to get in the habit at work to at least walk once a day.

I dropped 1 more pound. I am almost back to what I was a month ago. At Vonnie's last weekend, I enjoyed a Chinese buffet, potato salad, a small piece of cake and a few other goodies. I have been better the past few days but need to be better.
